The Story of Passion

In October 2007, Jennizioso (formerly Jennylicious) started as a home-based business by a recondite young entrepreneur that thought of making pastries and cakes as Filipinos are known for their sweet tooth and are always search for good snacks. Jennizioso ingeniously got its name from the combination of two words. "Jenni" came from the first two syllable of the founder’s name while "Zioso" came from the last two syllable of the word delizioso. The latter was derived from the Italian word which means delicious.

The concept of Jennizioso is an Italian-inspired with an infusion of its traditional desserts and a flavorful twist to the Philippine palate and so as the name of each product. It contemporized with creative modern techniques to form the framework of its own original specialty.

Freshness and quality is the name of the game, as everyone gets to dive into the realm of healthy eating as they do not contain the preservatives compared to store varieties. That’s where the business got its slogan "La Sapor Di Casareccio". The name itself derived from Italian phrase "The Taste of Homemade". Each of the signature collection impresses yet the prices are very affordable.

Jennizioso invades the Worldwide Web through its www.jennylicious.multiply.com in January 2009. After a month of invading the blog zone, the sales picked up, however, when the founder introduced her pizza rotini.

The Signature Pizza Rotini was born when my aunt taught me an alternative way on how to bake similar to calzone on a sliced of bread instead of using dough as a base. Until then, I enhance its flavor by seasoning with my homemade pizza sauce, and adding a blend of fresh spices for that real pizza taste. Over the years, the recipe spawned the entire Pizza Rotini Collection that includes Hawaiian Delight, Ham and Cheese Duo, and Cheese Galore.

After thousands of word-of-mouth recommendations and positive feedbacks, Jennizioso had become the newest commissary that supplies fudge brownies to Don Henrico’s in Ayala Center Cebu in January 2010 until February 2012.

To date, Jennizioso is a freelance supplier in a couple of school canteens and restaurants.

With the new and upgraded facilities, the menu also had a boost. There were newly introduced pastries and cakes to upgrade of previous offerings. Jennizioso’s valued clients can now visit its Facebook Page: www.facebook.com/Jennizioso - for updates on products, packaging and promos.
